چکیده
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a non-traumatic, non-atherosclerotic layering of the wall due to presence subintimal hematoma or an intimal tear with creation false lumen that compresses true and restricts obstructs flow. Patients SCAD preserved flow are treated conservatively according general recommendations. However, percutaneous intervention should be considered in patients occlusion and/or refractory ischemia. Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection.
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a non-traumatic and non-iatrogenic separation of the coronary artery wall that is now recognised as an important cause of myocardial infarction, especially in younger women. SCAD can be elusive on coronary angiography and clinician familiarity with non-pathognomonic angiographic SCAD variants and the use of intracoronary imaging will improve diag...
متن کاملSpontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection in Acute Coronary Syndrome: Report of a Series of Cases with 17 Patients
Introduction Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) has prevalence of 0.2 to 1.1% of the total angiograms performed for Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)1,2 and mostly affects young women.3 The etiology is not fully known,2,3 but the term “spontaneous” excludes all dissections associated with interventions or trauma.1 Treatment varies from the conservative approach to revascularization,4 wit...

We present a case of a 43-year-old lady who presented with an acute coronary syndrome, but without any cardiac risk factors or previous cardiac symptoms, and who had a spontaneous coronary artery dissection. This was successfully treated with percutaneous coronary intervention. A brief discussion of this clinical entity and literature review is presented.
متن کاملSpontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection and Woven Coronary Artery: Three Cases and a Review of the Literature
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) and woven coronary artery anomaly (WCAA) are relatively rare. A few of the previously reported woven coronary artery cases have involved in a single coronary artery. We present an unusual woven case involving all coronary arteries and two patient with SCAD. We have also reviewed the literature related to these disease, as they resemble one another.
